We all want to do our bit to support UK charities, and especially the efforts made by some of the country’s smallest charities.
Now you have the chance to raise awareness for one of these worthwhile causes by voting for your favourite in our Win the Tin competition.
Top 20
Thousands of nominations rolled in from people keen for their favourite charity to be included when the competition launched back in October. In fact, more than 200 of the UK’s small charities were nominated in total.
The 20 with the most votes have now been shortlisted:
Alopecia UK
Ben's Den
Berwick Animal Rescue Kennels
Bethany's Wish
Capricorn Animal Rescue
Captive Animals Protection Society (CAPS)
Charlie Cookson Foundation
Count The Kicks

You can find out more about each one and the hard work they do here.
Vote for your favourite
If you think one of the charities on the list deserves the chance to win a cash prize, cast your vote for them now. Voting closes on 12th December and the winner will receive £5,000 towards their cause. The charities that place second and third will also get a prize, as will one of the members of the public who nominated a charity.
The work done by charities all across the UK is so important for raising both money and awareness of issues that affect many people every day. While each of the charities on our shortlist does very different work, it’s all extremely worthwhile. Show your appreciation by voting for your Win the Tin victor.
