If you work for a charity or community project and you’re looking for someone to help you out, Ocean could be just what you’re after!
We’re looking to help out four charities by giving them one of our Team Ocean Makeover Days, where we’ll provide 10 volunteers to come and assist you with your valuable work. Whether you need them to paint the walls of your youth club, tidy up the community centre’s garden or even just make the tea and coffee for your visitors, they’ll be at your beck and call. You could also win £300 to put towards any equipment your charity or project needs for the day.
To enter the competition, simply tell us why you think your charity or project should win! Write a 250-word post on your blog or website saying why your cause deserves to have a Team Ocean Makeover Day. The competition is open to charities and projects within a 50 mile radius of Ocean’s offices (M17 1FQ). Then simply send your post to [email protected] to be in with a chance of winning!

Our judges have now chosen the first two charities for Team Ocean to get involved with:
Stick'N'Step - Our judges chose this charity as they felt that the day spent painting and helping to tidy up the sensory garden would really benefit the children that the charity helps. Read Stick'N'Step's entry here.
Dr. Kershaw's Hospice - Our judges thought the Colour Run was a great fundraising event and one we could really get involved with to help make the event even more special! More information can be found here.
East Lancashire Hospice - Our judges picked this charity as they felt that the hospice and its patients would really benefit from sprucing up the garden and courtyard area. The transformation will make it into a beautiful space in which to relax. More information can be found here.
Carla Lane Animals in Need - Our judges chose this charity as they felt that the team could really make a difference to the everyday lives of the cats and dogs that stay at the rescue centre. More information can be found here.
