Ocean’s win a website competition
Are you a UK registered charity? Are limited funds preventing you from creating your very own website to spread the word about your cause? Perhaps your website could just do with being brought up to date? If the answer to these questions is yes, we might just have the solution for you.
Here at Ocean, we’re all about giving back, which is why we are committed to working with charities. With our free infographic service, lending a hand with Team Ocean makeovers and our Win the Tin competition, we’ve helped a range of charities in various ways.
For more information on how we can and continue to help, check out our presentation:
Now we’re going one step further and offering the chance for one UK registered charity to have their very own space on the web, courtesy of us.
First off, you’ll need to submit an entry. All valid entries must:
- Include your charity’s name
- Include a valid UK registered charity number
- In no more than 500 words, explain how a new website will benefit your organisation
- Be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org
We’ve teamed up with the Big Give to help us pick the winner. We’ll shortlist five charities from all valid entries, and then Rachel Earnshaw and Lizzie Hulton-Harrop from the Big Give team will select the winning organisation.
Once the winner has been chosen and notified, we’ll continually liaise directly with them via email, over the phone and/or in person to discuss specific requirements, ideas, hopes and dreams for their new website!
Using our existing oceanfinance.co.uk domain, we’ll create a brand new subdomain using your charity’s name. What will it look like?
Worried about our branding barging all over yours? No need. We won’t interrupt the design, look or feel of your section with any of our Ocean branding – the space will be entirely about you and your charity.
If this sounds like something you’re interested in, make sure you get your entry sent over to bryony.pearce@thinkmoneygroup before the application process ends at midnight on Sunday, November 6th.
