When it comes to looking good Katy Perry is an expert.
The Dark Horse singer knows exactly what suits her and isn’t afraid to push the boundaries and wear something unusual (like her pepperoni pizza onsie!).
As well as dressing well, Katy lives well and her homes are super stylish. We’re going to take you on a journey through her past and current homes so you can be inspired to give your own house a Katy Perry makeover!
During her marriage to comedian/actor Russell Brand, Katy divided her time between their homes in New York and Los Angeles. Read on to feel inspired by Katy’s taste, and then see how you can get the look for yourself.

Home 1 – Contemporary Los Feliz
Katy and Russell bought this house in 2009. When staying at their Los Feliz home the couple would take advantage of living close to Griffith Park and would get out and about on their bikes.
The ultra-modern property had four stunning bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms. Its grand master suite had 13-foot ceilings, a luxurious spa bath and a walk-in dressing room. It had close to 20 sets of French doors leading on to its terraces and landscaped gardens. They sold it in 2011. Click here to get the look.
Home 2 – New York crash pad
Katy and Russell bought their New York penthouse in 2010 and sold it two years later. It might have only had two bedrooms and two bathrooms but it oozed luxury. It was situated at 65 North Moore Street and was their base for whenever they were in New York. Katy injected colour with modern art in this home, which had a stunning open plan living space. Home 3 – Spanish Glamour
In 2011 Katy and Russell purchased a huge home on Hollywood Boulevard which had seven bedrooms and eleven bathrooms. The property had two guest houses and a lagoon-themed swimming pool.
Sadly, they split before they got chance to move their furniture into the house and Katy struggled to find a buyer for it. She finally accepted an offer in December 2013 – although it was $900,000 (£559,130) less than they paid for it. See the photos.
Homes 4 & 5 – Best of both worlds
After Katy and Russell divorced she bought two properties next door to one another in Hollywood. The two homes couldn’t have been more different from one another – one is contemporary and the other is Spanish in style. It is believed to have cost her $11.5 million to purchase the two properties and she is undertaking massive renovation work to get them looking just right – proof that even popstars are happy to indulge in some do it yourself when it comes to home improvements!
