This month, we’ve picked our favourite supermarket apps – so you can save when you shop!

CheckoutSmart

CheckoutSmart is a thrifty app that allows you to claim money back on selected items. You’ll find it’s regularly updated with a wide range of offers, with some offering 100% cashback – so you’re basically getting stuff for free! It doesn’t matter where you do your weekly shop either, as CheckoutSmart have teamed up with Tesco, Sainsbury’s, Morrisons, Asda and more.

So, how does it work? Simply snap a pic of your receipt and upload it onto the app. Add your PayPal or bank account details and they’ll send across your payout. It couldn’t be simpler!

You can find out more and download the app here.

Shopmium

Shopmium is similar to CheckoutSmart – it offers a range of items you can claim cashback on. It tots up all of the available offers and calculates the total amount of money you could earn back, so you can see how much you can save. You won’t need to keep hold of your receipts, either – just scan the barcode of the product to get money back.

What’s more, you’ll get a code for a free bar of chocolate when you sign up. Need we say anything else?

Sign yourself up here.

mySupermarket

mySupermarket should be every shopper’s best friend… if you’ve got your eye on something, you can find the cheapest possible deal across 15 shops, including Tesco, Sainsbury’s, Amazon and Asda. You can even compare prices when you’re out and about! Just scan the barcode of a product to see if you can get a better deal and it’ll show you where you can find the cheapest offer.

mySupermarket is available on desktop or you can download the app and save on the go.
