By applying for finance during the Promotional Period of the Giveaway (the “Giveaway”) you confirm your acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
This Giveaway is promoted by Ocean Finance a trading style of Intelligent Lending Limited.
The Giveaway is managed by Car Finance 247 Limited (company number: 06035525) whose registered office is at Universal Square, Devonshire Street North, Manchester, United Kingdom, M12 6JH (the “Promoter”).
These Terms and Conditions apply so far as the law permits, so please read them carefully.
Entry into the Giveaway is automatic during the Promotional Period upon an application for car finance being submitted via Ocean Finance which meets the conditions below.
The Giveaway is open to all UK residents aged 18 or above at the time of application.
The following individuals will not be eligible to enter this Giveaway:
To apply, complete a car finance application with Car Finance 247 via Ocean Finance between the 01/05/2025 and 31/07/2025 (the “Promotional Period”).
An application for finance to one of Car Finance 247’s panel of lenders will be an eligible entry for the Giveaway and entered into a draw with a chance to win £3,000 (the “Prize”), provided that all of the following conditions are met:
a) the application is submitted via Ocean Finance through their respective car finance journey in partnership with Car Finance 247.
b) the application has been completed during the Promotional Period,
c) the application for credit has been approved, and
d) a credit agreement has been entered into with that lender no more than 14 days after the end of the Promotional Period and the customer has collected the relevant vehicle from the relevant motor dealer and has not exercised his or her right of withdrawal in accordance with the Consumer Credit Act (1974) (CCA).
Only applications received during the Promotional Period and in accordance with these Terms and Conditions will be eligible for the Giveaway.
If, for any reason, a technical interruption, fault, or site failure occurs, neither Ocean Finance nor the Promoter take any responsibility for inability to enter or for incomplete or late applications and any such entries will not be considered valid for the Giveaway.
The Giveaway offers a total of £9,000 in prizes:
First prize: £3,000 cash.
Second prize: £3,000 cash.
Third prize: £3,000 cash.
The Promoter is not responsible for any additional costs and/or expenses related to the prizes beyond those specified.
The Cashback form will be emailed to the winners within 7 days of the date a winner is drawn. The Promoter will use the phone number and email address supplied with the application form and will not be responsible if the email address or phone number supplied is incorrect. It is your responsibility to ensure that the information you provide is correct and that you check any junk/spam email folders (where applicable).
In all circumstances, the Promoter's decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
The winners will be selected at random from all entries received during the Promotional Period that then go on to take out a car finance agreement with one of Car Finance 247s lenders within 14 days of the end of the Promotional Period.
The draw will be conducted 7 days from the end of the Promotional Period and the winners will be notified by email and phone. If the winners cannot be contacted or do not claim the prize within 14 days of notification, the Promoter reserves the right to withdraw the prize and pick a replacement winner.
First promotional period: Finance applications made between the 1st May 2025 and the 31st May 2025.
Second promotional period: Finance applications made between the 1st June 2025 and the 30th June 2025.
Third promotional period: Finance applications made between the 1st July 2025 and the 31st July 2025.
Neither Ocean Finance, nor the Promoter, or their respective group companies, or their affiliates, agents, officers or employees will be liable (to the extent permitted by law) for any loss or damage arising out of organising or holding this Giveaway or as a result of an applicant’s participation in it, participation in any activities or as a result of the applicant collecting, using or enjoying the prize, or if the Giveaway does not run as planned. This clause does not seek to exclude liability for:
(a) death or personal injury caused by its negligence,
(b) fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, and/or
(c) any other matter for which it would be unlawful for it to exclude or attempt to exclude its liability.
The Promoter may change these Terms and Conditions or cancel the Giveaway at its absolute discretion and without incurring liability as a result unless the prizes have been awarded. Where the Promoter changes these Terms and Conditions it will notify applicants as soon as reasonably possible.
These Terms and Conditions and any disputes arising therefrom shall be governed and construed in accordance with English law. The parties agree that the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction to deal with any dispute or claim that arises out of or in connection with these Terms and Conditions and the Giveaway including non-contractual claims.
Save for any promotional activities carried out by Ocean Finance, the Giveaway is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with any other third party. No third party is responsible to participants in respect of any aspect of this Giveaway. By applying for this Giveaway, you are providing information to the Promoter. The information provided will be used in accordance with Car Finance 247 Limited’s Privacy Policy as set out at Privacy Policy | CarFinance 247
By applying during the Promotional Period of the Giveaway you agree that the Promoter (and its agents, contractors and group members on its behalf), may process, store, distribute and/or use the information (including personal data) you provide in your finance application:
a) to enable it to administer your application in the Giveaway, including deciding whether it accords with these Terms and Conditions;
b) to share with organisations assisting with the conduct of the Giveaway and fulfilment of the prizes (where applicable).
The Promoter reserves the right to contact all applicants regarding various product and service promotions or other related communications. Should applicants wish not to be contacted, they should write to the Promoter at [email protected]. Applicants will have the opportunity to opt-out of future correspondence in any subsequent communications.
You agree that by entering this Giveaway, you will comply with the terms and conditions of the Giveaway as set out in these Terms and Conditions, the website terms and conditions of Ocean Finance and all applicable laws and regulations, including without limitation, those governing copyright, content, defamation, privacy, publicity and the access or use of Ocean Finance others’ computer or communication systems. Entries which are found or suspected to violate such laws and/or regulations and/or any third-party rights will be disqualified from the Giveaway and the prize will be forfeited.
